RIM releases BlackBerry Media Sync 3.0 for Mac and Windows PCs

Newsbrief by Michael Oryl on Wednesday November 25, 2009.

Yesterday Research In Motion released version 3.0 of its BlackBerry Media Sync application, which is now available for free download.

BlackBerry Media Sync is a desktop computer application for Windows and Mac (OS X 10.5.5 or later) computers that aims to make it simple to synchronize photos (on Windows computers) and music between a personal computer and a BlackBerry smartphone. Version 3.0 adds folder support to photo synchronization, image size optimization, and alerts when there are new photos that can be imported to the phone. The application is compatible with both Windows Media Player and iTunes, and works with most all newer BlackBerry devices.
