Klausner files suit against Motorola, RIM for visual voicemail technology

Newsbrief by Brian James Kirk on Tuesday November 24, 2009.

Inventor Judah Klausner filed suit Monday against Motorola and Research In Motion, alleging violations of his visual voicemail patents, according to a press release.

Klausner Technologies claims to own 24 patents related to visual voicemail and has won settlements from Verizon, Google, LG Electronics and others in the past, as we've reported.

Klausner is targeting Motorola for its new CLIQ Android-powered smartphone and RIM's BlackBerry Bold 9700 for the voicemail technologies that they include.
