Spotify launches app for Nokia Eseries, Nseries, and some XpressMusic handsets

News by Brian James Kirk on Monday November 23, 2009.

Spotify has launched its premium music subscription service for Nokia devices. Spotify lets users stream and download music on mobile devices and is already available for iPhone and Android handsets, as we've reported.

Premium Spotify account holders can download a new Symbian application to create and sync playlists, save music for offline playback, and search and stream music on their handsets over-the-air.

Most Nokia Eseries and Nseries devices and some XpressMusic devices are supported by the new application. The service is available in the UK, Spain, France, Sweden, Norway, and Finland.
