Windows Marketplace now available for Windows Mobile 6.0 and 6.1 smartphones

Today Microsoft has announced that its Windows Marketplace app store is now available on Windows Mobile 6.0 and Windows Mobile 6.1 devices. Users can download the app store to their phones by going to the Microsoft website From the website, users can enter their phone's number to receive a link via SMS to make it easy to download the new Marketplace application.
Microsoft also noted that it has over 1000 software vendors registered to date, and that there are more than 800 registered applications in the pipeline.
