BlackBerry App World to offer carrier billing in 2010

Wireless Week reports that BlackBerry App World will get carrier billing options in 2010 that will enable customers to charge applications and content to their phone bill, according to an announcement made Wednesday by RIM co-CEO Jim Balsillie.

The new feature would give customers an additional option to paying for applications. Currently, they must have a PayPal account to buy mobile apps. [via Phone Scoop]
