Google partners with Best Buy to distribute Google Mobile App in stores

News by Brian James Kirk on Friday November 06, 2009.

Google has partnered with Best Buy to distribute the Google Mobile App in stores, according to a company blog post.

Best Buy employees will educate consumers about the software by showing demos, answering questions, and the employees will help install the software on customer phones if asked. Once installed, users will have access to Google Search, Maps, Gmail, Latitude, and more. The application is free, as always, and available for BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, and S60 smartphones. More information is available at Google.
