Opera Mobile 10 launches for Symbian S60 with increased performance and new features

Opera Software has released a version of its Opera Mobile 10 browser for Symbian S60-based devices. The mobile app features performance that is twice as fast as previous versions of Opera Mobile for S60, whether users are downloading pages, zooming, or panning.

The company says that the application comes with a new design, tabbed browsing, and Opera's unique Speed Dial visual bookmarks system. Of course, it also features staple Opera features like Opera Turbo, which reduces mobile downloading time, password management, and a touchscreen keyboard for touchscreen-style phones.

Opera Mobile 10 is available for Nokia, Sony Ericsson, and Samsung devices running Symbian S60 3rd or 5th editions. Users can download the new software by browsing to www.opera.com/mobile/next/.
