Cricket introduces LG HELiX feature phone into prepaid lineup

Cricket Wireless has introduced the LG HELiX feature phone into its lineup of prepaid devices. The HELiX includes basic functionality like messaging, mobile web browsing, noise reduction and Bluetooth technology.

Users can snap photos with the device's 1.3 megapixel camera and view the media on the HELiX's 2.0-inch 262k color TFT display. The device also includes an external 96 x 64 pixel TFT display. The HELiX comes preloaded with Cricket MyPerks, which provides information and discounts for local restaurants and retailers, and MyBackup, which lets users store their contacts in the cloud for $2.00 per month.

The LG HELiX is available from Cricket starting October 29 for $139.99 in silver and pink color schemes.
