T-Mobile selling Medis Xtreme Portable Fuel Cell Charger
News by Brian James Kirk on Thursday October 22, 2009.
T-Mobile is to start selling the Medis Xtreme Portable Fuel Cell Charger, a electrochemical energy-powered charger for mobile devices.
The emergency charger creates its own energy without access to power outlets or batteries. The company claims that the device is eco-friendly and that it can provide 20 watt-hours of electricity, which can charge a smartphone multiple times.
The Fuel Cell Charger is compatible with most devices since it includes USB, miniUSB, micro-USB, Palm Treo, and Nokia connectors. Pricing details are not currently available. [via Phone Scoop]
