Acer unveils three touchscreen smartphones in beTouch line

News by Brian James Kirk on Tuesday October 20, 2009.

Acer has announced its beTouch line of touchscreen smartphones, a series that is complimentary to its recently announced neoTouch lineup. The beTouch lineup includes Acer's E100, E101, and E200 beTouch devices.

Though specifications for the devices haven't been detailed, all three phones are powered by Windows Mobile 6.5 and include touchscreen functionality. The E100 and E101 feature standard slab designs while the E200 includes a sliding T9 alphanumeric keypad for easy dialing.

Last week Acer unveiled the S200 neoTouch, the manufacturer's flagship Windows Mobile 6.5-powered smartphone device, as we reported. The company also launched its A1 Liquid Android-powered smartphone recently.
