LG has announced the LG GW300, an attractive full QWERTY candybar handset based around social networking features. The GW300 sports a 2.4-inch display, Bluetooth wireless connectivity, and a 3.5mm audio port for using regular stereo headphones.

With a native Facebook app, users should be able to easily update status messages and check on friends. Users can also save their favorite contacts to their homescreen with LG's LiveSquare application. The phone's microSD card slot supports cards as large as 4GB in size so users can listen to their own music, and there is also an FM radio, too. Bluetooth functionality will let users connect hands-free handsets, as well.

The LG GW300 will be offered in the UK by O2 and Orange, though pricing and availability information have not yet been announced.
