Sony Ericsson unveils Xperia Pureness with see-through display

At a press event yesterday, Sony Ericsson unveiled the Xperia Pureness, a feature phone that demonstrates new concepts in the mobile phone form factor.

The Pureness features a transparent display that can be seen from both sides of the device. It also has a blank keypad that reveals itself when the phone is activated.

Sony Ericsson says more details on the Xperia Pureness will be announced in November when the device is launched in select cities globally. The Pureness is expected to retail for £530 before taxes and subsidies.
