MetroPCS and Cricket make Samsung SCH-R560 Messenger II available

Product Launch by Brian James Kirk on Wednesday August 26, 2009.

MetroPCS and Cricket Wireless have both made the new Samsung SCH-R560 Messenger II slider phone available to customers. The handset features a sliding full-QWERTY keyboard, 2.0 megapixel camera, and access to text messages and social networks.

Users can snap pictures, shoot video, and store their newly created multimedia alongside music and more on a microSD memory card. Music lovers will appreciate Bluetooth with A2DP stereo support. With EV-DO data connectivity, users can also quickly browse their favorite web sites, as well.

The Samsung SCH-R560 Messenger II is available now for $149 from MetroPCS, and for $199 from Cricket Wireless.

The phone is great for texting and instant messaging. I have had the phone for a couple days now and im adjusting ot the qwerty keyboard. Tbhe only complaint i have is that retrieving picture messages is a long and tedious task.
