News by Brian James Kirk on Thursday August 20, 2009.

Orange UK says that its much anticipated LG GD910 Watchphone, a touchscreen 3G phone built into a wrist watch, will go on sale next week.

We first reported on the GD910 in January when it was unveiled at the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The device features high-speed HSDPA data connectivity, speech-to-text and text-to-speech translation, and a music player. Bluetooth headsets and stereo headphones are also supported.

The LG GD910 Watchphone will go on sale on August 27 and is priced at GBP 500 (US$823).

You'll find two live demos of the GD910 in action below.

I dont think this will become a next generation phone. Teens like phones like iphones or phones like Nokia Aeon ( http://www.domesticutilities.com/aeon.htm ) . but its not for me

I really like this phone. I think it will be a great hit worldwide.
Congratulations LG.
