Microsoft updates Communicator Mobile with better conference features

Newsbrief by Brian James Kirk on Tuesday August 04, 2009.

Microsoft has updated Office Communicator Mobile with several new features. Users now have the ability to join conference calls more easily, directly from the application. The software automatically detects whether a user is outside their provider's network so they can avoid roaming charges. Communicator Mobile also allows users to make calls from an office number while on-the-go.

Microsoft also says it will release a version of the software for the forthcoming Windows Mobile 6.5 when it is available. [via Phone Scoop]
