Nokia N86 8MP coming to the U.S. in "coming weeks"

Nokia announced today that its N86 8MP camera phone will soon be headed to the U.S. The S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2-powered device sports a 2.6-inch AMOLED(INFO) display, an 8.0 megapixel camera, and aGPS technology and will be made available in flagship Nokia stores in the "coming weeks."

Built to take quality pictures, the N86 features variable f/2.4 to f/4.8 aperture, a mechanical shutter, a dual-LED flash, and a wide-angle Carl Zeiss lens. The N86 lets users upload photos with one-click, and gives access to Nokia's various services like Ovi Share, Ovi Maps, N-Gage, and Ovi Files.

The N86 first began shipping globally in early June, as we reported. The Nokia N86 8MP smartphone will be available for in the U.S. for $558.00.
