LG to unveil next-gen Chocolate feature phone in August

LG has announced that it will unveil a next-generation model of the LG Chocolate. Although details are scarce, the manufacturer says that the new device is being designed by the same design team as the original Chocolate and that it will ride on the success of the first generation device.

LG says that the new phone will utilize an innovative mobile display that will "maximize usability while inheriting the original minimalist-inspired style and iconic design," according to a statement.

LG says that to date it has sold 21 million LG Chocolate handsets in 54 different countries. The next-gen Chocolate will be unveiled fully in August.
