Google mobile universal search now available for all devices in 60 countries

Newsbrief by Brian James Kirk on Thursday July 02, 2009.

Google has announced that its mobile search team has brought universal search results to all mobile devices in over 60 countries and 38 languages.

Searches performed on smartphone and feature phones alike will return Google's universal search results, which include news, images, blogs, videos and product search results. The results have also been optimized for mobile use, so a location with phone number meta data displays that number prominently.
