T-Mobile to unveil next Android-powered smartphone next week

T-Mobile has confirmed rumors that it will announce its second Google Android-powered smartphone next week. A T-Mobile USA spokesperson told MobileBurn that the company "will share more details about its next Android-powered phone, the follow-on device to the T-Mobile G1 with Google."

The Wall Street Journal said earlier this week that the phone will be called the myTouch 3G and that it will be manufactured by HTC. The publication said that the phone is essentially the same as the HTC Magic.
