LG unwraps GW550 Windows Mobile QWERTY smartphone

LG has unwrapped its new GW550 smartphone, powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard. Featuring a full QWERTY keyboard and small 2.4-inch QVGA (240x320 pixel) resolution display, the GW550 should slip into your pocket quite easily.

The LG GW550 also features a 3 megapixel main camera and a VGA resolution forward facing camera for video calls. The GW550 sports quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) and tri-band UMTS (850/1900/2100MHz) 3G connectivity with HSPA(INFO) support for high-speed data. The GW550 is also powered by a large 1300mAh battery, for extended talk times, and features built-in stereo speakers.

Pricing and availability details for the LG GW550 have not yet been announced.
