Nokia Ovi Mail updated with interface enhancements and 3 new languages

Newsbrief by Brian James Kirk on Friday June 05, 2009.

Nokia Ovi Mail has been updated with three more languages and a handful of interface enhancements. Ovi Mail provides email access for emerging markets where it can be difficult for some people to gain access to a personal computer.

In addition to the existing 11 languages, Ovi Mail now supports Latin American Spanish, Vietnamese, and Italian. Ovi Mail has been upgraded with a larger space to compose email messages, the ability to auto-check for new messages, auto-expansion of the BCC and CC fields when entering multiple recipients, and step-by-step instructions for setting up and using the service for Nokia devices.

More than 350,000 Ovi Mail accounts have been created since it launched in December 2008. The service is available in more than 170 countries.
