Reuters is reporting that Verizon Wireless CEO Lowell McAdam has stated that his company will offer both the Palm Pre and the new BlackBerry Storm 2 in roughly 6 months time:

"Over the next six months or so you will see devices like Palm Pre and a second generation Storm."

McAdam is said to have also stated that his network's cell phone offerings will include a Palm Pre "cousin" and that Verizon will offer Google Android based smartphones by the end of this year, stating that Motorola would become a major player at that time. McAdam also mentioned that there have been good discussions going on between Verizon Wireless and Google.
