Nokia launches N97 preview webpage with video animations
News by Brian James Kirk on Monday May 04, 2009.
Nokia has launched a preview webpage for its anticipated N97 camera phone. The site shares several animations that show off the full-QWERTY sliding smartphone's exciting features.
Users will be able to personalize their home screen using sliding widgets, shown clearly in a video. The landing site also shows the N97's advanced Web browser with social networking capabilities-in this case, a user is shown sending a webpage to a friend by e-mail.
The site shows how users can watch movies and browse pictures on the device's 3.5-inch display and also shows how users can purchase and download games, applications, videos, widgets and more from Ovi Store.
The site also offers the ability to pre-order the device in Germany, Italy, Sweden, and the U.S. The Nokia N97 will ship in July 2009 for $699. [via EngadgetMobile]
