Plantronics Voyager PRO ups the ante for Bluetooth headsets

Today Plantronics launched its new Voyager PRO Bluetooth headset, which features Plantronics' new AudioIQ2 signal processing system for optimal noise and wind cancellation and what it calls "rich, natural inbound audio."
Part of the headset's wind noise control comes from its stainless steel mesh and acoustic fabrics that cover the microphone, which is at the end of a long boom that brings the microphone closer to the audio source - the user's mouth. The headset also features a lithium polymer battery that is good for up to 6 hours of talk time or 5 days of standby time.
The Plantronics Voyager PRO is available now for US$99.99 from Best Buy retail shops and BestBuy.com, but will also be available from Plantronics.com and other U.S. retailers starting in late May. It will be available in Asia starting in June and in Europe in July.

This looks to update the legendary voyager 510. It also looks like it takes care of some of the shortcomings of the 510 like the power and volume buttons and now it uses a micro usb charger. Can't wait to try it out.

Definately the most comfortable and best audio performance from a headset in years,apart from the noise cancelling aspects of the headset being the best in class,the range is in excess of 50 ft or 20 metres and more!!office use is now realistic as you can roam around your office space with ease and superb audio!
