Sprint's Samsung's SPH-M810 Instinct S30, announced in March, is now available. A slimmed down version of the original Instinct, the phone features GPS, and Bluetooth connectivity plus more in a more compact touchscreen design.
A microSD card will allow users to save photos taken by the device's 2 megapixel camera with video recording capability.
The Instinct S30 supports a variety of Sprint applications, like Music Store, Sprint TV and NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile. It has also been updated with Opera Mini 4.2, visual voicemail and Microsoft Live Search.
The Samsung Instinct S30 is available online and in stores for $129.99 after a two-year contract and a mail-in rebate. [via SlashPhone]

LEt's clear up the error on this article first. This phone does NOT have Wi-fi.
So, having said that, I am disappointed in Sprint. While ATT is launching the amazing Samsung Impression, the tiny MetroPCS launching the Samsung Finesse and Alltel gets the sexy Motorola Evoke, what does Sprint get?
They get a slightly re-designed Instinct one that takes a step backwards because it forego's Rev A speeds for Rev 0.
I don't get Sprint's thinking in this, considering that the S30 is selling at the same price as the original.
So, if you want my advice, get the original Samsung Instinct and download Opera 4.2 from opera.com. It's a better device than it's replacement device.
And Sprint, a replacement model is often an evolution of the series, not a step backward, what were you thinking? Save your engineering resources for devices that will want users to desire Sprint, not laugh at them.

I have had the first instinct and now the second one. I am disappointed all the way around with sprint. Lets face it their phones sucks, and is way more expensive than the phone of other service provider, they have the most dropped calls and on top of everything I have been with sprint for over 7 years now only because of my number is given out to many for business, but sprint not only has the most ratchett phones their services is right up there with it. I would NOT suggest this phone or service to anyone!!!!! I have had enough with Sprint this year though, when my contract ends I will be moving to something better. Can we step into the future, in my mind I thought this was suppos to be Sprint's version of the Iphone however the only thing that it has that is featured like the iphone is that it is touch screen and lets just be honest this phone locks up so much! Do not buy this phone. In fact do not get this service!!!!!
