Google CEO Schmidt expects "very strong year" for Android

Computer World is reporting that Google CEO Eric Schmidt is predicting good times ahead for Android, the company's mobile operating system.

Schmidt expects a "very strong year" for the software, he said during the company's first quarter investors' conference. He told investors to expect "quite significant" new announcements on Android-related projects and partnerships.
