Tracfone and Samsung unveil SGH-T201G affordable clamshell phone

Product Launch by Brian James Kirk on Thursday April 16, 2009.

Samsung and Tracfone have quietly announced the Samsung SGH-T201G, a clamshell device with internal and external displays and basic, affordable features. The T201G features standard calling and text messaging features, web access, and helpful organization tools like an alarm, calculator and calendar. The device measures in at 1.8-inches wide, 3.5-inches tall and 0.8-inches thick.

The SGH-T201G marks the third Samsung phone on the wireless network, in addition to the Samsung SGH-T101G candybar phone and the Samsung SGH-T301G slider phone that we reported on last week. Pricing and availability for the SGH-T201G have not been announced.

DOES the Net10 version of Samsung t201g have a SPEAKERPHONE & CALENDAR? Also, is Speakerphone clear and loud? And are ringtones clear/audible enough?
