This evening in Las Vegas for the 2009 CTIA Wireless show, Samsung and Sprint launched the new Samsung SPH-M810 Instinct S30, a slimmed down version of the original Instinct that sports the same basic specs in a more compact, curvy design.
Like the original, the Instinct S30 features a large touchscreen display with vibration haptic feedback, a 2 megapixel camera with video recording capabilities, and Bluetooth stereo support. It also features a number of software upgrades, including the latest Opera Mini web browser, visual voicemail, and Microsoft's Live Search. Threaded SMS and support for corporate email through Sprint Mobile Email Work means that the Instinct S30 can keep message happy people smiling.
Support for Sprint services like Sprint TV, the Sprint Music Store, and Telenav turn-by-turn navigation is also built-in. In order to encourage more 3rd party application development, Sprint and Samsung have also opened up the device with better Java support.
Sprint says that the Samsung Instinct S30 will be available starting on April 19 for US$129.99 with a 2 year contract, after a $70 instant rebate and a $100 mail-in rebate.

You are correct, there is no WiFi. That was a mistake on our part.

LEt's clear up the error on this article first. This phone does NOT have Wi-fi.
So, having said that, I am disappointed in Sprint. While ATT is launching the amazing Samsung Impression, the tiny MetroPCS launching the Samsung Finesse and Alltel gets the sexy Motorola Evoke, what does Sprint get?
They get a slightly re-designed Instinct one that takes a step backwards because it forego's Rev A speeds for Rev 0.
I don't get Sprint's thinking in this, considering that the S30 is selling at the same price as the original.
So, if you want my advice, get the original Samsung Instinct and download Opera 4.2 from opera.com. It's a better device than it's replacement device.
And Sprint, a replacement model is often an evolution of the series, not a step backward, what were you thinking? Save your engineering resources for devices that will want users to desire Sprint, not laugh at them.
