Product Launch by Brian James Kirk on Monday March 30, 2009.

AT&T and Samsung have announced the Samsung Magnet, an affordable, slim candybar messaging phone. This quad-band EDGE device includes a QWERTY keyboard on its face, a 2-megapixel camera, and access to standard instant messaging, email, and multimedia services provided by AT&T. Featuring only a WAP browser, the Magnet does not offer support for regular websites.

Details about the Magnet's specifications are scarce. The Samsung Magnet will be available in coming weeks, but pricing and availability have not yet been announced.
