YouTube launches mobile app for S60 and Windows Mobile devices

YouTube has launched an optimized mobile video application for Microsoft Windows Mobile and Nokia S60-based devices. According to David Stewart of YouTube Product Marketing, the service is now 90 percent faster starting-up, searching, and loading video, and is optimized for WiFi or 3G data connectivity.

The mobile application is compatible with all Windows Mobile Devices and Nokia S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 and Feature Pack 2. A full list of compatible S60 devices is available here. Interested users can navigate to m.youtube.com to download the application.
