Samsung announces Samsung Movies download store

Samsung Mobile has introduced a new dedicated movie store for its customers called Samsung Movies. The new store will allow users to download movies directly to a Samsung cell phone, PC, or laptop.

Samsung Movies will offer up to 500 movies and TV shows initially for rental or purchase. Pricing for rentals is set to start at 2.49 GBP (US$3.49), and 4.99 GBP (US$6.99) for an outright purchase. Samsung is expected to add another 500 titles at the end of Q1, followed by another 1,000 titles by July.
