Nokia N96 gets added to Comes With Music initiative

Newsbrief by Ricky Cadden on Monday December 22, 2008.

In the U.K., the Nokia N96 is now being offered as a Comes With Music device. Nokia's Comes With Music initiative includes select cell phones, and includes a voucher for 1 year of unlimited downloads from the Nokia Music Store. The Nokia Music Store uses Microsoft's PlaysForSure DRM protection. The downloaded tracks are only licensed to a single phone and computer combination, with a few exceptions.

The Nokia N96 features 16GB of internal storage and is equipped with a microSD card slot for even more storage potential. The standard 3.5mm audio port and dedicated music playback buttons help make the N96 a great music device.
