Sling Media announces beta SlingPlayer Mobile client for BlackBerry

Sling Media has announced that it will finally be releasing an official BlackBerry client as a public beta on December 30th. SlingPlayer Mobile for BlackBerry will enable Slingbox owners to stream live television programs from their homes.

SlingPlayer Mobile for BlackBerry will officially be supported on 3G and WiFi-enabled models, including the BlackBerry Bold, BlackBerry Curve 8900, BlackBerry 8820, BlackBerry Curve 8320, BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220, and BlackBerry Pearl 8120. You will need to have the latest version of the BlackBerry operating system, v4.5, in order to use the SlingPlayer Mobile for BlackBerry. You can get more information from Sling Media.
