Vodafone launches Widget Manager for S60-based smartphones

Vodafone has announced its new Widget Manager, a beta application designed to make it simple to find and download widgets directly to your phone. Currently, the application is only available for select Nokia smartphones that are based on Nokia's S60 3rd Edition user interface.

The Vodafone Widget Manager is available free of charge, and currently has 10 widgets available, including Weatherbug, train times, and an RSS reader. Other widgets, including some from the BBC, are expected to be available soon. The Widget Manager is available through the Vodafone Live! web portal. [via Pocket-Lint]
