Casio's Exilim cameraphone snaps through the FCC

News by Ricky Cadden on Thursday December 11, 2008.

Casio's Exilim NX-9250 cameraphone has passed through the FCC, presumably coming to Verizon's lineup soon. Verizon is the sole carrier of Casio's other cell phones, the rugged G'zOne line, which we've reviewed here.

The FCC filing gives us precious little information on this new cameraphone, only confirming dual-mode CDMA (800/1900MHz) with EV-DO Rev. A support for high-speed data. Bluetooth is also on board, for short-range connections. Exilim is the brand that Casio uses for its digital camera lineup, hinting at a high-end camera being on board.

Feel free to peruse the FCC filings here. [via PhoneScoop]
