Sprint announces Open Software Platform, initially for Windows Mobile

Sprint has announced its new Open Software Platform, which will initially be based on the Sprint Titan development platform for Windows Mobile-powered smartphones. The new Open Software Platform will be detailed at Sprint's 8th Annual Application Developer Conference that is taking place later this week.
Sprint's Open Software Platform is designed to make it easy for application developers to use the same tools for mobile applications as they do for desktop applications. Based on the Java ecosystem, the Open Software Platform will have more tools made available soon. Interested developers can get more information at http://developers.sprint.com.
