HTC Shadow II for T-Mobile appears on FCC

News by Michelle Ruhfass on Wednesday December 03, 2008.

A new Windows Mobile slider phone has come out of the shadows on the FCC. The HTC-developed Shadow II has been spotted and looks to have some slight modern touch-ups and upgrades from the original, including softer, rounded edges as well some improvements under its hood that include a faster processor and a jump up to Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional.

The Shadow II looks to be destined for T-Mobile and supports quad-band GSM networks. The FCC documents also hint at support for T-Mobile's UMA(INFO) based @Home service. A slide-out keyboard is on board as well as 2 megapixel shooter, a large 2.6" color touchscreen display, and front facing scroll wheel.

No word yet on launch dates or pricing.
