T-Mobile launches web2go portal, reprices data packages

News by Ricky Cadden on Thursday November 20, 2008.

Today T-Mobile launched its new web2go internet portal, offering its customers a new way to access the internet from their cell phones. Web2go is centered around Yahoo!'s oneSearch engine, offering relevant search results. The new portal also features improved personalization options for subscribers.

T-Mobile's new web2go portal also includes a newly redesigned T-Mobile marketplace, including ringtones, wallpapers, games, and applications. A My Downloads area keeps track of users' purchases, so that when they get a new phone, purchased content can easily be re-downloaded.

To go along with its new web2go portal, T-Mobile has revamped its data packages for cell phones, with new bundles that include web browsing, email, and messaging. More details on T-Mobile's new web2go portal and its new data packages can be found at T-Mobile's website.
