Google Sync for BlackBerry now supports contacts

Newsbrief by Ricky Cadden on Thursday November 20, 2008.

The Google Mobile Blog today announced that Google Sync for BlackBerry now supports 2-way contacts synchronization. The Google Sync application is a free program that also synchronizes your Google Calendar with the one on your BlackBerry.

Since the Google Sync for BlackBerry works in both directions, you can change a calendar entry or contact on your phone, and those changes will automatically show up when you access Google Gmail on your computer. You can download Google Sync for BlackBerry by navigating to m.google.com/sync from your BlackBerry smartphone.
