Motorola has outed its MOTO VE240, a candybar cell phone for Cricket Wireless and MetroPCS here in the United States. The VE240 covers basic messaging and calling functionality and also offers music playback with its built-in MP3 player. A microSD card slot is available for expanded storage, and Bluetooth connectivity with A2DP support for stereo headsets is also on-board.

The Motorola VE240 is expected to be available on Cricket Wireless for US$89.99 after a $30 instant rebate for Cricket Wireless. MetroPCS pricing information has not been provided yet.

I personally think the VE240 is a pretty good quality phone. ive had mine since thanksgiving and it still works. But at some stores, they might give you a phony charger. It will charge your phone a few times but then the screen will start to flicker as if its been dipped in water. its not your phone, its your charger. the charger is putting to much energy into your battery. all you need to do is go up to your lical MetroPCS store and get a REAL motorola charger. this is how it should look. you should have to flip the metal part that goes into the wall. its not very big but it has an M that stands for motorola on the back. hope some of this info helps you!
