AT&T finally launched the BlackBerry Bold 9000 today. It is the first smartphone from RIM to offer tri-band UMTS (850/1900/2100Mhz) support, with HSDPA for super-fast data transfers. The BlackBerry Bold 9000 also features a large, full QWERTY keyboard and uses the new BlackBerry OS v4.6.
The BlackBerry Bold 9000 includes a built-in GPS receiver and supports the AT&T Navigator voice-guided GPS system. 1GB of internal storage is backed up by a microSD card slot for further expansion, as well. The BlackBerry Bold 9000 is available today from AT&T, priced at $299.99 after a 2-year commitment and $100 mail-in rebate.
