Orange has announced that it will begin offering HTC's Touch HD smartphone next month. The new handset will be available initially in the UK, with France and Romania following soon thereafter.

The Windows Mobile 6.1 powered HTC Touch HD smartphone features a large 3.8" 800x480 touchscreen display and offers the company's TouchFLO 3D user interface. Other notable features include a 5 megapixel shooter, GPS navigation, and HSDPA 3G connectivity.

The HTC Touch HD for Orange UK will be offered from GBP79.99 with an 18 month, GBP40 per month contract. [via The Unwired]
