Verizon releases video of RIM BlackBerry Storm 9530

Newsbrief by Michelle Ruhfass on Wednesday October 22, 2008.

Verizon recently released some live video of its upcoming touchscreen smartphone, the BlackBerry Storm 9530, and we put it together and posted it on YouTube for all to see.

The Storm is Research in Motion's first attempt at a full touchscreen messaging device and includes other features like a large 3.2" 480x360 pixel display touchscreen, a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and video capture, as well as Bluetooth. This messaging powerhouse also supports 3G on both North American CDMA and European UMTS networks, and also works on all four GSM/EDGE frequency bands for true global roaming.

The BlackBerry Storm is expected to hit store shelves soon.
