Sprint delaying HTC Touch Pro launch

Newsbrief by Ricky Cadden on Friday October 17, 2008.

Sprint has announced that the launch of its HTC Touch Pro has been delayed until the end of October or early November. The touchscreen smartphone was originally planned to be available on October 19th.

Sprint did not specify the cause of the delay, though low inventory levels were hinted as the root of the problem. The HTC Touch Pro is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and features HTC's TouchFLO 3D finger-friendly user interface, with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, as well. [via IntoMobile.com]
