Samsung and Sprint have released a new firmware update for the M800 Instinct that contains an entirely rewritten web browser. The update was delivered OTA (over-the-air), which means that it should be automatically delivered to any Instincts in use.
The update, officially numbered 'BH29', includes the resolution of 249 different support tickets, including the overall speed of the web browser and updates to the way that the browser displays web pages. A new feature also allows the user to toggle the browser controls, allowing for even more full screen browsing.
This firmware update for the Samsung M800 Instinct is available to all users by simply going to Menu, Settings, General, and choosing Update Phone. [via Gizmodo]
