Australia's Telstra rolling out 21Mbps eHSPA network upgrade

Earlier today Australian carrier Telstra announced that the upgrade of its HSPA^(INFO) 3G network to Enhanced HSPA (eHSPA, also known as HSPA Evolution and HSPA+) is nearly complete. This upgrade will enable Telstra customers to experience peak download data rates as fast as 21Mbps when used with eHSPA^(INFO) compatible equipment.

Telstra already lays claim to operating the fastest national 3G network in the world, and this upgrade should cement that position for some time to come.
