Hewlett-Packard prepping new Windows Mobile powered smartphone

Hewlett-Packard is no stranger to the Windows Mobile-powered smartphone market, and rumor has it that the company will reveal its latest attempt sometime soon. The new phone, according to sources, is set to invade Europe within the next few months.

While details are scarce, sources state that the new smartphone will feature a touchscreen display, in addition to a hardware keypad. Email and Internet will be the focus in this new handset, which should be sold through major carriers, rather than SIM-free, as has been the case with previous HP smartphones.
