Verizon and T-Mobile top J.D. Power & Associates Customer Satisfaction Survey

J.D. Power & Associates's Wireless Contract Regional Customer Satisfaction Index Study Volume 2 was released today, showing which carriers U.S. subscribers felt have the best customer service. The study interviewed over 20,000 U.S. consumers, asking them to rank their current carrier in the areas of call quality, brand image, cost of service, service plan options, billing, and customer service.

For the purposes of this study, the U.S. is broken up into six regions for this study: Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, North Central, Southwest, and West. In Volume 2 of the study, which was released today, Verizon Wireless ranked the highest among consumers for every region other than the Southwest, where T-Mobile prevailed.
