Palm taking pre-orders for Treo Pro smartphone

It seems that Palm has started taking pre-orders for its new Treo Pro smartphone today. The Treo Pro, in its unlocked form, will cost US$549. Palm says that users can expect it to ship in 2 to 3 weeks.
The Palm Treo Pro can be pre-ordered now from the Palm Store website.
