Nokia has released a new firmware revision for its N95 smartphone. The new version, v30, is available to owners of the original N95 (not the 8GB) through the Nokia Software Updater application. The update application can be downloaded for free from the Nokia website.

Owners of the North American spec N95 can check for an update here, though there have been no reports of a new firmware version for those devices yet.

The new v30 N95 firmware supposedly adds some new applications, such as Nokia Maps 2.0 and the N-Gage client, as well as tweaks some things like the WiFi system's power consumption. A full list of changes is available here. [via AllAboutSymbian]
